How to Use Maybelline Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipsticks

1st Step – Apply lipstick in the centre of your upper lip and follow the contours of your mouth.
2nd Step – Glide the lipstick across the entire bottom lip.

 

My Experience with 'Maybelline creamy matte lipstick - 'Burgundy blush'

These lipsticks come in classic Maybelline Color Sensational lipsticks packaging. These close with a soft click. Hence pretty travel safe, still make sure to keep it in a small pouch in your bag.

Formula, Texture, Pigmentation, Finish

These lipsticks do have a very velvety as well as creamy formula which glides smoothly on the lips. The texture in indeed creamy. All the shades have great colour pay off as well as cover the lips evenly with absolutely no patchiness. Therefore really love the pigmentation of these lipsticks. The finish I would say is rather soft matte if not 100% matte. For a total powder matte finish, which were launched shortly after creamy mattes.
This is a deep burgundy shade with warm (slightly maroon as well as brown) undertones. I want to compare this to MAC Dark side. MAC Dark side has more red in it but, this has more wine & brown in it.

Wear Time, Staying Power

These lipsticks in general wear well for up to 5-6 hours. Most deeper shades leave a strong stain on the lips. However that can be taken care of with a good makeup remover. I do feel that the staying power could have been a little bit better. But still overall it performs quite well for a drugstore lipstick.
Overall I would say these lipsticks are quite nice you if you like the shades. Finally, for an everyday wear matte lipstick with a comfortable matte formula, you should definitely check these out.
